In honour of Smart Home Week, ElectricalDirect is partnering with smart home technology developer, Lightwave, to demonstrate the simplicity of smart technology, and where installers will see the most demand.
The connected home shows no sign of slowing, according to recent survey findings from ElectricalDirect. The online supplier of specialist electrical products found over 60% of its customers are either considering or intending to purchase smart home products in the near future.
Although there is strong demand, there are still many misconceptions surrounding smart home technology. As such, ElectricalDirect is collaborating with Lightwave, a pioneer of smart lighting, heating and security, to demonstrate the ease of installation and benefits of these products.
During Smart Home Week, which starts on September 21, ElectricalDirect will share valuable content on its website with advice and information for installers about this popular technology. This will include detail on the various products and solutions for a connected home and how these are best suited to homeowner requirements, as well as advice on specifying products that minimise disruption during installation.
