Investing in a future workforce has led to UK Power Networks being named as the best energy and utility firm for apprenticeships, and second in the country among all companies.

The firm, which delivers electricity to 8.3million homes and businesses across London, the East and South East has been voted top utility in this year’s TheJobCrowd listing.

The company is employer of choice for its 6,000 geographically-spread, predominantly field-based workforce as well as future recruits, through providing dynamic opportunities which will help the UK transition to a low carbon future.
