Glynn gets fit for Sport Relief

Together with approximately 120 other participants, at the Sport Relief Mile event at Brandon Leisure Centre, Glynn completed a six mile run raising almost £150 in the process.

Glynn, who celebrates his 50th birthday this year, is particularly pleased with his performance as he only took up running less than a year ago by joining a parkrun event in Thetford. He is now a regular runner.

‘Having taken part in ‘Run the World’ 28 years ago, I wanted to get fit again before I turn 50,’ said Glynn. ‘This was a great opportunity to combine my running and raise money for a worthwhile cause at the same time. I would like to thank all my sponsors, especially GlassGuard.’

Glynn now plans to take part in a number of running events, including a half marathon later in the year.
