The event took place on 7th July at London’s White Rabbit Studio where Snickers’ team of models strutted their stuff on the catwalk, performing backflips and handstands, modelling various clothes that demonstrated the evolution of tradesmen’s workwear over the past few decades.
Forty years ago Swedish electrician Matti Viio became so frustrated with the workwear of the time that he designed and made his own and called it Snickers. Comprising a toolvest, jacket and work trousers, the distinctive look and feel of the garments were very much on trend with fashions of the time.
The Snickers 2015 product range is testimony to Matti Viio’s vision – to deliver workclothes that enable discerning craftsmen and women to make a quality statement about themselves and their skills.
