The BS 5733 maintenance free accessory standard stipulates that a maintenance free junction box should be used when installing an electrical junction in an inaccessible location, i.e. behind plasterboard or under a floor, for instance. This eliminates the need for access panels or expensive re-work of finished surfaces.
The In-Sure Box complies with the BS 5733 and the 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations, and it makes electrical junction enclosure installation fast and easy without the need for any tools.
