Solid State attains second NSI Gold approval

The National Security Inspectorate’s prestigious Gold third party certification scheme for electronic security systems is the ultimate seal of approval for companies involved in the installation and maintenance of intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems. Solid State attained NSI Gold certification for fire detection and alarm systems in 2004.

Successful completion of the scheme not only proves that a company has been independently assessed to the industry’s most exacting standards but also that it has achieved business excellence through ISO9001 Quality Management and displayed technical expertise by meeting the relevant British and European Standards.

Chris Pinder, external affairs director at the NSI, presented Solid State’s security systems line manager, Mark Connor, with a unique personalised Royal Mint manufactured gold medal at the organisation’s head office in Maidenhead.

Mike Seary, Solid State’s maintenance manager, said, ‘We are delighted to add such a prestigious award to our growing list of accreditations as it clearly demonstrates our commitment to delivering the very highest standards of service to our clients. Mark has worked studiously to attain this major accolade for Solid State and I would also like to thank Jill Dibble of JD Associates for guiding us so expertly through the quality and certification processes.’
