Domus Ventilation has welcomed David Frimpong as its new National Specification Manager and Kevin O’Donnell as the Regional Sales Manager – South.
As National Specification Manager, David’s primary role is to deliver existing and new Domus Ventilation solutions into the residential new build market, providing specification support and driving sales in the sector. David may be new to the role of National Specification Manager at Domus Ventilation, but he isn’t wholly new to the company, having worked as Contractor Sales Manager for London and South East.
David has over 10 years’ experience in the HVAC market, selling into consultants, contractors and developers. His career in this field began with a sales role in Lorient Polyproducts and has seen him work with Domus Ventilation sister company, Nuaire, for four years.
David’s enthusiasm for all things ventilation is clear: “Ventilation is now a critical part of any building, particularly in these unprecedented times. Indoor air quality is paramount for our health and ability to work within enclosed spaces and the challenge of delivering the best solution is an exciting thing to be a part of. Domus is perfectly placed to deliver innovative solutions to the current indoor air quality crisis being faced in the UK today.
“Whilst I am busy putting our solutions in front of key specifiers, I also have input into new product developments. We are currently working on new solutions to significantly improve the quality and efficiency of installed mechanical systems, and I am very excited to be bringing these to the HVAC market in the near future.”
A further newcomer to Domus Ventilation is Kevin O’Donnell, as Regional Sales Manager – South. Kevin also brings extensive experience with him, having worked in sales and sales team management in the wider plumbing & heating industry for market-leading businesses such as Baxi UK, Twyford Bathrooms, Sentinel Performance Solutions and, most recently, Rointe Heating in Spain.
For Kevin, a move to ventilation “is the final missing part of the jigsaw puzzle for me. I have spent nearly a quarter of a century in the heating and plumbing side. Moving into ventilation was the next logical step in my career progression. Upcoming changes in legislation and the drive for even greater standards of householder comfort makes the wider ventilation sector such an exciting one. The opportunity to work at such a great company as Domus isn’t one that comes around too often.”
Kevin will be leading the Contracts Sales Team in the South, focussing on the private new-build, affordable homes and appropriate social housing sectors. He will be working closely with specification colleagues to deliver the very best service and support to potential customers.
In addition to these two new appointments, Domus Ventilation has also announced the promotion of Patrick Armour to Contractor Sales Manager South Central. Patrick will be responsible for large scale MVHR, MEV and ducting projects for mechanical contractors. He will be working alongside key distributors and national merchants to ensure all projects are managed efficiently.
