Marshall-Tufflex backs ECA’s Electric Event

Marshall-Tufflex has announced its sponsorship of the ECA Electrical Industry conference – The Electric Event – being held at Birmingham’s ICC between 20th-22nd June.

The Electric Event is a combined conference, exhibition and awards event with speakers including writer, explorer and TV personality Ben Fogle and Emma Clancy, CEO of Ascertiva Group. Comedian and Radio 4 regular Marcus Brigstocke will host the ECA Annual Awards.

The action starts on 20th June with the conference, at which Building Information Modelling (BIM) and home automation/intuitive buildings will be the main subjects under discussion.

21st June is dedicated to ‘Technology Live’ workshops (Marshall-Tufflex will lead the Energy Solutions workshop sessions at 11.20am and 3.20pm) and the ‘Meet the Suppliers’ exhibition, at which Marshall-Tufflex will be showcasing a range of products, including its voltage optimisation and domestic boiler management systems. The ECA Annual Awards will take place on 22nd June.

Kevin Beech, Marshall-Tufflex national sales manager, said, ‘The Electric Event promises to be a worthy addition to our exhibition calendar and one that we are really looking forward to. Through our cable management and energy saving systems we have much to interest the event’s target audience of building services/electrical contractors, including a number of new products with the potential to make installations using our systems even easier and customers even more satisfied.

‘The Technology Live workshops are particularly exciting and an ideal opportunity for electrical contractors, consultants, designers and specifiers to hear directly from leading manufacturers about the latest products, innovations and issues affecting the market. It should be a great three days.’
