MidKent College to host Technical Skills Event

MidKent College to host Technical Skills Event

Midkent College is hosting a Technical Skills Event from 9am-3pm on Thursday 30 May at its Maidstone campus, Maples Refectory.

At the event, students will learn more about moving into the electrical industry via apprenticeships in a bid to ease the skills shortage.

MidKent College offers intermediate, advanced and higher apprenticeships in Kent for those who want to earn while they learn.

Apprenticeships are a great way of learning new skills and improving knowledge and experience in an industry sector. Apprentices spend most of their time experiencing hands-on training in their workplace, supported by attending college (generally one day per week) to learn the theory and skills that can be put into practice straight away.

To find out more about the Technical Skills Event at MidKent College or to register your attendance, please contact Colin Hill at colin.hills@midkent.ac.uk or 01634 383350.
