New home for HellermannTyton

Following its much anticipated relocation from the current site in Aldridge, the purpose built distribution centre will provide HellermannTyton with an increased storage capacity of more than 120 per cent.

Additionally, the facility will house a dedicated product training academy, which will provide an area for HellermannTyton’s customers and staff to get accustomed with the products in a hands-on demonstration. It will also help the company tailor its products to the specific needs of its customers.

Located on Cley Road, the new facility will provide HellermannTyton with a 64,000ft2 building, equating to an increase of 170 per cent in office and meeting space, as well as 400 per cent more yard area.

To coincide with the move, HellermannTyton will be introducing a brand new warehouse management system which will support the day-to-day operations of the new facility.

HellermannTyton will also be launching a new freephone customer line – 08081642204 – which can be reached from 21st November. Not only will these two additions enhance customer service, but it will also ensure that HellermannTyton’s systems are more efficient.

Jon Chuchley, commercial manager at HellermannTyton, said, ‘The move from our Aldridge site to Cannock is a significant moment in HellermannTyton’s progression in the UK. Not only does the move significantly increase our capacity, it allows us to work more closely with our customers to provide our bespoke cable management solutions.’
