Click Scolmore, a designer and manufacturer of electrical accessories, has added two new Safety Lampholders to its Ceiling Accessories range: the B22d Safety Lampholder with HO Skirt and the B22d Safety Lampholder with Angled Skirt.
These additions expand the existing Loop-In Batten Lampholder range and include a safety mechanism designed to reduce the risk of electrical shock during installation or lamp replacement.
The lampholders feature an advanced J-slot system that locks a B22 bayonet lamp in place. Power only flows through the plungers when the lamp is correctly inserted and twisted.
If the lamp is removed or not properly installed, electricity does not flow, providing protection for both installers and users.
Range and construction
With the new models, Click Scolmore now offers five Safety Lampholder variations:
• T2 BC Loop-in Batten Safety Lampholder with Straight Skirt
• T2 BC Loop-in Batten Safety Lampholder with Angled HO Skirt
• T2 BC Loop-in Batten Safety Lampholder with HO Skirt
• 6” T2 BC Ceiling Safety Pendant Set
• 9” T2 BC Ceiling Safety Pendant Set
Each lampholder is made from UREA and clear polycarbonate, offering durability and resistance to wear.
All products carry an IP20 rating, making them suitable for indoor environments, and are supported by a 10-year warranty.
The B22 lamp is not included with the lampholders.
