Eaton Introduces Energy Storage Solution

The UK Government has long been in support of renewable energy and energy storage for UK home owners, and the market is expected to grow over the coming years. With this in mind and in anticipation of customers’ changing needs, Eaton has introduced the xStorage Home.

The innovative power management solution is designed to harness the full potential of sustainable energy sources, while offering access to safe, reliable and efficient power management.

It enables consumers to store electrical energy from renewable sources – such as solar panels or grid supplies – in battery form in their own home when it is available and when rates are at their lowest. The energy will then be available for consumption when and where needed, amongst many other consumer benefits.

With approximately 1.5 million homes in the UK having already installed some form of renewable energy sources, the benefit of adding energy storage – such as the Eaton xStorage Home – to optimise energy usage is obvious.
