Rako has extended its keypad range with the introduction of its high quality Modular WK-MOD and RK-MOD keypads for wired and wireless systems. Capable of accommodating up to 12 push buttons in a variety of lighting, shading and audio control configurations, the Modular range is said to offer unrivalled customisation and a premium finish to suit varying application requirements, and is fully programmable with Rako’s Rasoft Pro software.
The Modular keypad range features three different button sizes which can be combined in multiple ways to create custom button layouts, perfectly tailored to an installation. Each keypad is designed to offer a premium quality aesthetic with the user experience optimised by a comforting, robust and tactile button press. All Modular keypads are available with a choice of black or white buttons and seven hand-finished metal surrounds – satin chrome, polished chrome, antique brass, polished brass, matt black, matt bronze and matt white. Black and white plastic surrounds can also be supplied.
“Keypad flexibility is important for lighting designers, electricians and integrators to make sure they can deliver the functionality and simplicity of operation that’s right for their project and their clients,” comments Peter Broome, Director at Rako. “These Modular keypads are designed to offer that high degree of versatility, including a choice of control options, and they’re built with a quality and finish that sets them apart from the competition.”
Wired and Wireless Modular keypads are available in nine standard button configurations with custom layouts and engraving available to order. Designed to be flush mounted into a UK, single gang back box, installation and set-up is simple using Rako’s Rasoft Pro software and NFC for wireless keypads.
