Smart Tech Live Is Back!

Following on from the success of last year’s inaugural seminar, there will be two Smart Tech Live events in 2017. The first will be held in London at The Grand Connaught Rooms on Friday 9th June. The second will be held at The Principal York in York on Thursday 15th June.

Held in association with the ECA, the goal of Smart Tech Live is to inform and educate aspirational electrotechnicians about smart, connected and innovative technologies that will help give their business a competitive edge in an evolving industry.

Some of the industry’s most knowledgeable experts will be available throughout the day to explain how electricians can utilise smart solutions and differentiate their business. Some of the biggest manufacturers, associations and educators will also be present to guide audiences through the business opportunities that can be taken advantage of straight away.

The programme

The programme for both events will provide insight into the future role of smart solutions in the electrical industry. Using feedback from last year’s event, and subsequent surveys of Voltimum’s users, the programme has been tailored to the wants and needs of electrical contractors. The presentations will cover both residential and commercial applications and will focus on key topics that offer relateable and realistic opportunities for contractors today.

Full programme details will be announced closer to the event but it will include several interactive discussions from the Smart Solutions experts panel. Attendees will also benefit from application specific presentations from leading manufacturers like Legrand, ABB and Schneider Electric, as well as guidance from technical organisations like CEDIA.

Pre-show CPD Accredited Seminars

New for this year, the events will open their doors at 8am for a series of pre-show CPD accredited seminars from ABB, Schneider Electric, and Legrand. These will run every half hour until 9:30am.

Event tickets are £50 but an early bird discount is on offer (until 1st May): Only £20 per ticket for the full day seminar!
