The launch follows the Academy’s recent announcement of a formal partnership with the University of South Wales, to offer recognised qualifications in lighting.
The launch event will feature presentations by Peter Hunt, COO of The LIA, as well as a keynote presentation by Ray Molony, editor of Lux Review. (Further guest speakers to be announced in due course). In addition to lunch, guests will be given a tour of the Academy and an opportunity to visit the LIA Laboratory located next door.
Steve Davies, CEO of the LIA, said, ‘We’re inviting our LIA members to save the date of 28th September in their diaries. Formal invitations to the LIA Academy official launch will be sent out shortly.’
