New, new, new!
Hamilton will showcase two new, on-trend metallic finishes for its decorative wiring accessories at all 2021 events – Platinum Blue and Pewter Grey. Inspired by Italian design trends, the stunning Platinum Blue finish has a platinum base with a deep metallic blue coating that provides an almost jewelled aesthetic. Meanwhile, the eye-catching Pewter Grey finish adds drama and strength to interior design schemes, oozing sophistication. Free samples of the new finishes will be available at all the shows, just ask a member of the team.
Additionally, a new insert finish has also been added to Hamilton’s popular Hartland collection and will be on display. Alongside Black and White inserts, new Quartz Grey has been added to Hamilton’s range.
A bright move with a new 250W dimmer
Towards the end of the year at ELEX Sandown and ELEX Exeter, Hamilton will debut its new 250W LED Dimmer, the LEDIT-B250. Expanding the LEDIT-B Dimmer range, this 250W ‘big brother’ to the LEDIT-B100 enables dimming from two switches on a circuit with a combined multi-lamp load of 250W, making it suitable for large rooms with two entrances/exits, or applications such as stairway lighting.
It comes pre-set to ‘Trailing-Edge’ as standard, with manual setting to ‘Leading-Edge’ possible. The dimming mode can be finessed to deliver smooth operation and maximum performance. Its ‘Soft Start’ feature helps extend lamp life, while Hamilton’s proven LEDstat intelligent dimmer technology overcomes the common issue of compatibility between branded LED lamps and conventional dimmers.
Wide Rocker – same fixing, same quality
Amongst Hamilton’s vast range of wiring accessories on show throughout 2021 will be its Wide Rocker Switches. A contemporary twist on a standard design, they feature the same standard back box fixing and Hamilton’s dependable exceptional quality but in a design influenced by Asian design trends. Available across five Linea CFX collections, as well as Hartland CFX and Sheer CFX, they come in 1, 2 and 3-gang switch configurations, 1-gang Push-To-Make (PTM), Double Pole and Intermediate Wide Rockers. The Wide Rocker Switches are becoming increasingly popular in Europe for both residential and commercial properties, with hotels catering for international travellers leading the way in terms of demand.
Perception CFX – avoid distraction
As the trend for bold wallpaper designs and striking murals continues, Hamilton will show its Perception CFX collection – a clear plate that enables the wiring accessory to dissolve into the wallcovering, allowing the wall design to really stand out. The transparent plate has concealed fixings and a clear snap-on front plate that houses an insert of the chosen wall covering, making the switch plates and sockets almost imperceptible when fitted. Paintables – hassle-free colour matching
Whether switches and sockets need to blend in or stand out, Hamilton has the solution courtesy of its Paintable service. With the ability to match any RAL, British Standards or Natural Colour System reference, Hamilton can powder coat accessories to replicate wall colours, soft furnishings, or any element of the design scheme. Alternatively, it can also supply primed plates ready for painting on site. Hamilton has increased its production capacity of this popular service at its Bristol headquarters, even for low volume project requirements. See how easy and hassle-free the Paintable service is at any of Hamilton’s 2021 shows.
The Hamilton sales team is excited for the upcoming events and cannot wait to meet new customers and reconnect with existing and repeat clients face-to-face.
