New online services for Trade UK credit account

Tradesmen can now manage their business accounts with ease thanks to the Trade UK credit account which now features a host of online support services.

Trade UK is the brand new home of free services just for the trade, from the people behind some very familiar trade partners who know exactly what it takes to run your business smoothly.

The Trade UK account card offers a coordinated trade credit account which can be accepted in Screwfix, Plumbfix and Electricfix as well as TradePoint within B&Q.

Along with no annual fee, flexible credit limits, extra cards for employees and monthly statements it also offers up to 60 days free credit providing a simple and efficient way of managing your business account.

Trade UK account holders can safely and securely access their accounts to check out a current balance and track this against a credit limit. A dedicated ‘managing your cards’ section allows account holders to control all cards issued as well as add or cancel cards and report lost or stolen cards – handy for larger trade businesses, whilst a ‘changing card limits’ zone enables amendments to card limits on a card by card basis.

Transaction functionality has been carefully considered to suit the trade’s specific needs so that payments can be made on an invoice basis and statements viewed and printed individually or as single invoices.

John Mewett, Trade UK marketing director explained, ‘We know that keeping the work flowing and the business side simple is more important than ever for tradesmen across the country. These latest online features and benefits are designed to ease the financial housekeeping burden in a format that is trusted and familiar, using technology that can be accessed whilst out on site or from home.’
