The aim of the survey was to understand UK consumer awareness of Redring Xpelair Group’s ventilation brand Xpelair. Over 1,500 people participated in the survey, and the ages ranged from 18 years old through to the over 65s.
The research, carried out to help Redring Xpelair Group understand its customers and the evolution of the ventilation market, clearly showed that Xpelair has a strong brand name within the ventilation market, with nearly half (46 per cent) of respondents naming it as a make of extractor fan they had heard of. This was by far the biggest share of the responses, with other brands being recognised by between 4-27 per cent of respondents.

This is in part due to its widespread presence in homes across the UK and due to the reliability and high quality of Xpelair products, homeowners see it as a recognisable brand within the ventilation market.
‘With the research confirming this strong brand presence, we will be putting in a robust communications plan and product development programme for the next few years, ensuring that we capitalise on our success to date.’
