Aurora Lighting has expanded its commercial and industrial lighting portfolio with the launch of the new Amari Floodlight Range, a versatile family of high-performance LED floodlights designed to meet the requirements of electrical contractors, specifiers and facilities managers
Available in symmetric and asymmetric distributions, with standard, photocell and DALI options, the range provides a solution for applications ranging from building exteriors and car parks to warehouses, logistics centres and large-scale infrastructure projects.
Delivering lumen packages from 10,560 lumens up to 34,000 lumens, depending on model, Amari offers the performance required for both smaller commercial projects and larger industrial environments.
The 100W model, for example, provides selectable outputs of 10,560lm, 13,840lm and 17,000lm, while achieving efficacy of up to 170 lumens per watt. Selectable 3000K, 4000K and 6500K colour temperatures allow lighting schemes to be tailored to the requirements of different environments and applications.
“The name Amari means ‘strength’, which perfectly reflects the product’s performance, durability and versatility,” says Aurora’s Product and Marketing Director, Adam Wims.
“Following extensive market research, we set out to develop a floodlight range that delivers the performance, durability and flexibility demanded by today’s commercial and industrial lighting projects. The result is a specification-driven solution that delivers exceptional output and reliability across a wide range of environments.”
Designed for demanding environments
Durability is a critical requirement for exterior lighting, particularly in commercial and industrial settings where luminaires are exposed to challenging operating conditions. Amari has been engineered with a robust construction and tested to IP66 for dust and water ingress protection and IK08 for impact resistance. The range is also available with an IP-rated emergency option, providing additional functionality where emergency illumination is required.
Amari is particularly suited to exposed outdoor environments thanks to its 500hr+ salt spray resistance, making it ideal for coastal developments, ports, bridges and other areas where corrosion protection is essential. Every luminaire also incorporates a 6kV surge-protected driver, helping safeguard against voltage spikes commonly experienced in commercial and industrial electrical installations.
Flexible lighting solutions
Recognising that every project has different lighting requirements, the Amari range is available in both 120° symmetric flood and asymmetric optical distributions. This enables contractors and lighting designers to optimise illumination for open spaces, perimeter lighting, façades, pathways and other specialist applications.
The range also includes models with integrated photocell control, automatically switching lighting on and off based on ambient light levels to improve energy efficiency. For projects requiring more advanced control, DALI versions offer seamless integration into intelligent lighting and building management systems. A PIR option is also available, providing additional motion-sensing functionality where required.
Installer-friendly design
Ease of installation was a key consideration throughout the development of the range. Wattage, colour temperature and photocell settings can be adjusted directly within the luminaire, enabling installers to configure products on-site without changing fittings or carrying multiple variants.
A range of accessories, including PIR sensors and pole-mounting options, provides further adaptability and allows the system to be specified across a wide variety of project types.
Backed by Aurora quality
For additional peace of mind, the Amari range is supported by Aurora’s 3-year on-site warranty programme, reflecting the company’s confidence in the product’s long-term performance.
With outputs of up to 34,000 lumens, efficacy of up to 170lm/W, multiple optical distributions, intelligent control options and robust environmental protection ratings, the new Amari Floodlight Range provides a powerful and dependable solution for today’s commercial, industrial and infrastructure lighting projects.
The Aurora Amari Floodlight Range is available now through Aurora’s nationwide network of electrical wholesale partners.
